GATINEAU, ON. August 3, 2008 – The Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade, human-powered flying machines and pilot them off a 6.7 metres (22 feet) high deck in hopes of achieving flight. Teams are judged on their flight’s distance, creativity and showmanship. 50,000 spectators made it out to witness these quirky mchines make a splash.

OTTAWA, ON. July 12, 2008 -Two players from team “Juice Monkeys” go to block during a Hope Volleyball Summerfest game at Mooneys Bay. Hope was founded 26 years ago and raises funds for community-based charities. Each year, more than 25,000 players and spectators flock to the event.
