BELLEVILLE, ON. January 28, 2009 – Joseph Marr cannot sit on the couch without being swarmed by his five Chihuahua’s: (L to R) Sally, Sophie, Dizzy, Sadie and Paco. Marr has been literally surrounded by animals his whole life, growing up in what he calls “Noah’s Ark.”

MANOTICK, ON. August 27, 2008 – Ben Francis, an instructor at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, rewards Bailey, a German Shepherd guide in training. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind hosted an open house at its National Training Centre in Manotick. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind has provided professionally trained guide dogs to visually impaired Canadians since 1984.

MANOTICK, ON. August 27, 2008 – Maya, a Labrador Retriever, is a retired dog used for breeding at the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. She is pictured with her master.
