OTTAWA, ON. December 31, 2008 –  Caitlind Beaulieu is a 15-year-old Ottawa native who is traveling to Japan for a year to learn more about the culture. She is an expert cartoonist and is selling calendars of her artwork priced at $20 to help raise $5000 to pay for her trip in March 2009.

OTTAWA, ON. October 24, 2008 – Gordon Pimm, 85, is the author of Leo’s War, a book that offers a glimpse into his uncle Leo Boutillier’s life as a Canadian soldier in World War I, told through letters to his family. The letters were kept in storage for 80 years before they were opened and incorporated into this work.
