Maple Leaf Alumni Golf



June 25, 2009 –  The 15th annual Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Golf Classic teed off today at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham despite the rainy weather. On a Mission

TORONTO, ON. June 9, 2009 – Jeenirajt Thevasagayam, aka JJ, 19, started volunteering at the Yonge Street Mission six years ago. He has since started a basketball training program and has up to 40 youth under his wing. JJ says volunteering  helped him to get his life on track and to pick up valuable life skills. OTTAWA, ON. December 29, 2008 – Isla Mutcher, nine, is the goaltender and only girl player on the West End Warriors hockey team. Her dad, Dale Edmonds-Mutcher, helps her to lace up her skates before a game. She has been playing hockey for three years but has been goal tending for only one year.

So far this season her team has a perfect record. The Warriors won against the Arnprior Raptors 6-3 on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Orleans Recreation Centre during the the 10th edition of the Bell Capital Cup.

2009 Nearly Upon Us

Just an update to say that I recently placed first in the sports category in the Loyalist College Photo Contest for the month of October. It was a bit of a surprise since it’s not a typical sports action photo.

I recently purchased a Canon HV20, so I will be working on some video projects in the new year.

I will post up my LARP documentary as soon as I finish mixing the audio. Stay tuned!
