GATINEAU, ON. August 3, 2008 – The Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade, human-powered flying machines and pilot them off a 6.7 metres (22 feet) high deck in hopes of achieving flight. Teams are judged on their flight’s distance, creativity and showmanship. 50,000 spectators made it out to witness these quirky mchines make a splash.
